It’s that time of year again. March madness. Also the same time of the year where NBA completely gets ignored more than it already gets ignored for the best playoffs of any sport, the NCAA tournament. So since NBA will be taking a little backseat to college basketball, I decided to start a bracket pool on CBSsports.com that is open to everyone. Here are the rules for the pool.
-$10 per person. I WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTING 50 BRACKETS TOTAL. So room in the pool is limited.
-I’m doing the bracket pool through CBSsports.com. The link to join is at the top of the page, if you don’t already have a CBSsports.com account you’ll have to make one. After you’ll have the opportunity to join.
-Either give me money in person or you can Venmo me the money to the username @Donald-McHenry-1 with the note “Ball and Chain”. Your money must be received to me personally or to my Venmo account by 11:59 p.m. on March 15th, the day before the first game, or your bracket won’t be included to the pool. CBS Sportsline also won’t accept your bracket before the first game, so remember that. I will keep the funds from the entries in my Venmo account until the tournament has concluded and then I will Venmo the winnings to the two winners.
-Make sure your name is on your CBSsports.com profile and in the title of your bracket.
If a lot of people sign up, 70% will go to first place and 30% will go to second place. If not a lot of people sign up I’ll just do 100% to the winner. I will also obviously post my brackets on the blog before the tournament starts to ensure no one thinks I’m cheating.
After each round I will post the leader boards with everyone’s name on the blog.
Tell your friends and let’s hit the 50 person limit!
