(I hope this is the last time Bryan Colangelo is seen anywhere near blackface.)

Pusha T’s response: “The Story of Adidon”

It had been about 3.5, maybe 4 full days since Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle” diss towards Pusha T after his “Infrared” diss off of his album, “Daytona”. If you frequent Twitter/Instagram like I do, you know that 4 full days is essentially a lifetime in Internet time. Everyone was wondering whether or not Pusha was going to entertain this rap beef and…boy, did he. Pusha’s diss track, “The Story of Adidon”, came equipped with the cover art shown in this blog’s featured photo, showing Drake sporting some very offensive black face. Pusha doubled down on it and assured everyone that the photo wasn’t edited, which is troubling the say the least. Then you get into the song, and Pusha is revealing to the world that Drake may have a child by a pornstar that he’s not too proud of. So unproud that, as Pusha states, Drake has the mom and the child (named Adidon) staying in France away from the public eye around him and in America.

It was a very insane claim, and is definitely the one blemish on a pretty respected career for Drake. No one likes a deadbeat dad, and that’s definitely what Drake is if Pusha’s claims are true. Pusha also goes after Drake’s dad in the song, as he was absent from Drake’s life early on.

The part of the song that was the most savage to me was Pusha’s comments on longtime Drake producer and friend, Noah “40” Shebib, who has multiple sclerosis.

OVO 40, hunched over like he 80, tick, tick, tick
How much time he got? That man is sick, sick, sick

I knew that when Drake mentioned Pusha’s fiancee, Virginia Williams, that Pusha would be back with a response. What I didn’t know was that Pusha would go after Drake’s secret child that he’s ashamed of and also go after a guy with MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS but whatever, King Push don’t fuck around.

It’ll be interesting to see if Drake strikes back, or if Pusha keeps coming, as he does say at the end of the song, “We just gon’ peel it back layer-by-layer”.

I have a feeling this is far from over.

Bryan Colangelo Hates on People Through Burner Accounts?

As I was diving into the Pusha T diss lyric-by-lyric late Tuesday night (I happened to go see Deadpool 2 while this was all going on, I missed a lot), the NBA threw its hat into the absurd ring of the internet with this Bryan Colangelo story.

As we pivot towards the NBA Finals, The Ringer posted the bombshell of a story about president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, Bryan Colangelo. In the story they say that Colangelo may have five burner accounts on Twitter that he uses to tweet out certain things that a normal NBA executive couldn’t really tweet. Examples include criticizing NBA players that included some of his own, criticizing his own head coach, and criticizing infamous former 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie along with other NBA executives.

It’s a mind-boggling story that seems to have at least some truth behind it, as Colangelo admitted one of the accounts were his (just a separate account to read through Twitter according to him) and that the 76ers said they are investigating the matter. The Ringer piece also details how three of the five accounts were switched from public to private once they reached out to the 76ers for a comment. It all seems very fishy and it all seems to indicate that Colangelo truly ran these accounts.

The NBA, man. They can’t even take two days off in between the conference finals and the Finals without blowing up Twitter. #NBATwitter truly is a gem and it was in full force again last night. EVERYONE was making jokes about Colangelo last night. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone, even star 76ers center Joel Embiid got in on the fun (even though he also said he doesn’t believe the rumors).

Getting back to the seriousness of these allegations, Colangelo could find himself in some hot water regarding this. No team wants someone running the show who is cowardly enough to get on Twitter and trash his players/coaches just to start his own stupid narrative on Twitter. You think people are going to want to come join Embiid and Ben Simmons with that going on? You think Embiid and Simmons would even want to stay with Colangelo doing that stupid shit? Probably not.

So as this is hilarious to all other 29 fandoms of the NBA, I’d be very concerned if I were a 76ers fan.
